Why did you come to this planet? Same reason I did: to evolve spiritually. That's why we're all here. Every time you make a small spiritual advance, that's a step forward for all humanity, because we're all connected.
So, what is your personal mission on this planet? What can you do to help? There's a million things that need to be done, right? So what can you do that no one else can do?
Once you find your mission, nothing else matters. The economy, what jobs are available, what market sectors are hot... none of that matters anymore.
