When you rank US citizens by wealth, the top 1% have more money than the bottom 90%. That's 13,000 families who collectively have more wealth than 90% of the rest of us. They own everything. They own the corporations, they own the congress, they own the presidency, they own the courts, they own the religions, and they own the media. They control what we hear, what we see, what we talk about, what we think.

We have to start thinking about how to correct this situation. Throughout history many people have found themselves in similar circumstances. We can learn from their examples, what worked and what didn't. There was the American revolution, the French revolution, and others.
